It is not uncommon to have tears rolling down your face at the dentist but not ones of joy and gratitude. In 3 or 4 visits, I have been able to settle my wondering bite- which without me putting 2 and 2 together caused me shoulder and neck stress and pain. With tiny adjustments and a series of checking my bite, I was able to have a "home-base"- a place my teeth could count on settling into that allowed the rest of me to be relaxed. I was recommended to Dr. Lea by my daughter who greatly improved her bite and the associated pains for being out of quilter through her orthotics which had not taken into account her jaw positioning. Well I found myself in a similar situation and developing facial ticks, and sensations which kept my facial muscles endlessly in a compensating pattern. As a non practicing at this point, naturopathe with 30 years of experience, I did understand that simple things work and less is often more and yet to be reminded of it in a field I do not know was exciting and ground-breaking. I recommend Dr. Lea and his wonderful team- all well versed in informed consent and choices for situations you have not been able to resolve. I also urge any new practitioner in dentistry to preceptor with this man as his gift will be lost to this world when he decides to retire one day. Manon Bolliger

WOW what a team Dr. Lea has put together to help us help ourselves with dental hygene. I was referred to Dr. Lea in December and I am so grateful I went. I have the best bite I have had since my jaw was broken 37 years ago by easily amending other dental work I have had done. With the help of Dr. Lea, I avoided trips to a specialist off island and thousands of dollars, not only in dental work, but in lost wages/time. What a life-changing find! I'd been suffering from jaw tension and pain for ages and Dr. Lea corrected it with a minimally invasive procedure. Literally a minute after I could feel the difference- such relief. And the support offered was such peace of mind, knowing that I could call anytime and be looked at in case of emergency. It's such a warm, caring team they have there; starting at the front desk with Marilyn, to their friendly techs and resident guard cat. I woke with a terrible toothache on Saturday morning and phoned Dr Lea's office. Even though it was the weekend and their office was closed Marilyn called me back within minutes and after asking a few questions and consulting with Dr Lea, advised me that it could be an abscessed tooth and told me to come in immediately. After examining the tooth Dr Lea performed an emergency root canal. I have anxiety around dental visits at the best of times but Dr Lea explained the process to me in detail, and told me what he was doing throughout, assuring me that if I felt any pain during the procedure he would stop immediately. He was very thorough and his ongoing explanations of what was happening helped me immensely. Once he was done Marilyn squeezed me in for a follow up appointment on Monday and asked me to call them in a few hours once the freezing had worn off. I'm thrilled to report that all my pain is gone. I am so grateful to Dr Lea and his staff for going above-and-beyond. Top quality dental and customer service!

I had a severe tooth and jaw pain issue, right before Christmas 2018, and was referred to Dr.Lea’s Dentistry Office. Dr.Lea kindly squeezed myself in for an emergency dental visit the same day, and was also willing to begin a long overdue diagnosis for my mouth issue immediately. It was clearly not part of Dr.Lea’s character to send someone off, knowing the individual was in great discomfort. I have had a few more dental services done at his office since then. Dr.Lea’s staff offer a friendly and family type of atmosphere, providing quality customer service and makes going to the dentist a comforting experience, and will work diligently to get to the root of your problem (lol my pun). After struggling for almost four years to find a family dentist, I can say with conviction that I have discovered my new family dentist for myself and my daughter.

My husband lost a cap off his front tooth over the long weekend and left a message at the office. First thing Tuesday morning Marilyn called and got him in at 9:15. Bill did an amazing job fixing his tooth...it looks fantastic and we didn't have to sell one of the kids to pay for it!! Thank you both for providing such a wonderful service.
