(September 18, 2018, 11:39 pm)A little nook of an ale room up some rickety staircase that makes it feel old and orthentic. Really pretty building. Not fit for those with poor mobility.
Other than that: Very friendly staff (English bar maid knew her biscuits when it came to beer.)

(August 17, 2018, 9:42 pm)Very friendly staff and knowledgeable too. The place is not very good so good for smaller group. You can get a taste of 5 different kinds of beer for only $8. Very good deal. A must go destination
(July 9, 2018, 5:54 am)With the limited amount of things to do on the island i consider a visit to Island Ales a must! We loved the beers and atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly. Long picnic tables encourage groups to mingle, made friends from another country while tasting the beers.
(July 8, 2018, 8:32 pm)Had so much fun at Salt Spring Island Ales last night! Everyone is super friendly and outgoing. Got a free hops plant as well! The golden ale, Heather already, and British IPA are insanely good and I have tried a lot of beer! Great seating area, although it would be nice if they expanded it a little.
