What an amazing property! First, The photography of this property on this website is well done and an is an accurate depiction of what you actually see, when you arrive!! From the moment you enter onto the property you have instant incredible panoramic views of both the property and the spectacular water views over-looking Ganges Harbour & Long Harbour of Salt Springs. You can also catch a beautiful view off in the distance, of Prevost Island and the BC Ferries cruising from Tsawwassen to Pender.

I must say, the hot-tub was perfectly located on the property over-looking the water-views and was the way we ended our stress-free, lazy-days, star gazing with a glass of wine in hand from the local vineyard. The art work throughout the B&B and the architecture around the property were absolutely stunning. The owner, with whom we had the pleasure of meeting did a fabulous job of designing and building this property. He truly is an incredible visionary and has the sweetest salt-of-the-earth-soul.

(ALL) of the Staff at the Stonehouse B&B were beyond hospitable as you'd think you were arriving at your favorite Aunt & Uncles home. (Sherry), the property manager greeted my husband and I with a very warm welcome and talked well beyond the tour of the property. She's a great wealth of knowledge of Salt Springs and simply just fun to talk to.

(Milly & Jelina) were amazing cooks. They made the most delicious gourmet breakfast using herbs and veggies from the garden on the property. They had menu's for you to choose your breakfast options from, which was a fun touch to the dining experience. They too were great to talk with and had lots of knowledge of 'what-to-do' on Salt Springs.

It was our Anniversary and (Milly) recommended "The House Piccolo" for dinner. The food was excellent and (Mary) our server was super sweet and pleasure to strike up conversation with. You MUST make reservations a day or two in advance. It's that good!

The evening and weekend property manager, (Kathleen) was darling and great to converse with as well. She was simply a delight! If there was anything we needed day or night, she made herself available. We didn't need anything, but appreciated her availability if the need arose.

I HIGHLY recommend the Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast to ALL. Whether you are Single, go as a Couple, gather with a group of friends or family, it is a wonderful, wonderful place to hang your hat for a few days or a week. The BC ferry system is clean and fairly fast to get you to Salt Springs Island to experience this GEM is so very worth it. We definitely plan to go back. We've already told many of our USA friends. Such a lovely and luxurious spot for a getaway. Our room was very comfortable with access to the amazing views from the grounds. The service was world class but so personalized given how few rooms they have. Strongly recommend if ever in Salt spring Island

Beautiful view, such amazing decor. Cook made an amazing breakfast. Room are very clean and roomy. Overall great accommodation and service.

A lovely place to stay. You can see the ferries and the lights from the ski hills in Vancouver from the hot tub.
We had the 2 level 2 bedroom small house. It was clean, quiet, and well appointed. We were given a studio tour and great care was taken with my minor food intolerance. Breakfast encouraged chat with other guests, but was not forced. Good recommendations for lunch and dinner places.
