I've been running Scotty downriggers for at least 20 years and have been a dealer. The ones I have currently have been flawless for 3 seasons. I had to take one in for an electrical problem. They fixed it, no questions asked, no problems and no charge. It's really refreshing to see a manufacturer that stands behind their products and warranty. If you're looking to get into a set then look no further. The only thing I'm missing in my Scotty compendium is a set of whiskey tumblers.

I called Scotty service department yesterday. Talked to Gary. He went above and beyond to help me out. Even gave me some good fishing hints .It's so nice to get quality customer service .

Took my downriggers in to get serviced. They serviced them, replaced the plugins, also the bumpers and hooks, I also had the braid replaced and all it cost me for everything was the price of the line! Thank you Scotty! You definitely stand by your products!

Nice to see a quality product made right here on the island. If you have an issue they fix it for free. The warranty is the best in the business. Quality is outstanding. I wish all manufacturers stood behind their product like Scotty does. Highly recommend!

Great service and customer support for my two older electric down-riggers. Sent them in for an overhaul, received them back by mail (no charge) within two weeks, new parts replaced as necessary. Now running better than before.
Staff were very helpful on the phone with other inquiries.
