Went whale watching with these fine people on September 10th 2018. We were super fortunate to see a a big family of killer whales very close to the boat. It was absolutely mind blowing!
Kudos to Dave who's doing great job as a guide and a captain.
Bring cash for the tip jar at the end, the crew deserves it!
I've booked a whale watching trip with this company twice for when family came to visit, and had positive experiences on both occasions. If a whale isn't seen, customers are given a free spot on another tour. The captains are friendly and knowledgeable, and the small size of the boat makes the experience more intimate and enjoyable. Going from Sidney also means less time is taken up travelling out to where the whales tend to be. I'd encourage anyone based on the Saanich Peninsula to support smaller businesses and book a trip with Sidney Whale Watching!
Knowledgeable captain who really went the extra mile to make sure we got a good view.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The smaller boat makes for a more intimate experience. The captain is a local and clearly loves the orca and the sea.
So much fun! We saw so many whales, the staff were very nice and our captain Dave was awesome with explaining everything we were seeing and making the trip enjoyable! Definitely going back to this company and would recommend to everyone!
