We struggled to find a US-based mill that could meet our custom order. WEST WIND HARDWOOD was not only able to meet the specifications of our order, but offered additional milling recommendations that assured us an easy installation. The custom order matches our original (circa late 1960s) flooring which resulted in a consistent, cohesive design upgrade to our home. To the entire crew at WEST WIND, we are grateful for the service and quality you provided to produce some really excellent results. From the initial call to discuss the project specification through final shipping and beyond - WEST WIND provided great value and service. The Westwind people have been outstanding and are always ready to offer advice and answer my questions. My orders have been dealt with quickly and have been received in very short order and in good condition. I would not hesitate to recommend them for all your wood needs. I shall shortly be building my next boat and will once again be ordering my Okoume plywood from Westwind. I would like to quote/misquote (misuse?) the ad from a major mattress company "why buy your plywood/hardwood/softwood anywhere else".

They have several shelves of off cuts and a free discard pile that are great for small level hobbyists or someone looking for a scrap or two of a wood they've never used before.
