(December 7, 2018, 12:04 am)My favorite liquor store on the island so far. So much character! The staff are super friendly, they have free popcorn (my children love that!) and they even give dog biscuits if they see you've got a dog in the car. I went into the BC Liquor Store in Sooke just to see and there is no comparison. Good craft beer and cider selections! Did I mention the free popcorn? And it's in a cool castle hotel building on the side of the river! Being right across the river from home doesn't hurt either.
