Last Chance Fishing Adventures

My husband and I were supposed to go out with another guide who couldn't make it, but thankfully, he was able to set us up with Captain Kelly. He met us right on time, and the rods were in the water in no time. We caught our allowable catch, and learned all sorts of interesting info about fishing in the area from someone who's been fishing all their life. Thanks Captain Kelly, for a great time.

We didn't catch a lot of fish, but Kelly sure tried hard. He stopped and jigged for some rockfish so we would have fillets for a nice meal. I would come again

Kelly is a legend. We called him last minute to go out with 4 of us (two couples) and he was magically available after already doing 2 charters that day. We caught a couple fish each and took home 2 big Spring salmon. The boat was clean and comfortable and Kelly was full of jokes and good times. Will definitely go back next time we are in Sooke.

We decided to try Salmon Fishing and called another guy who put us on to Last Chance. We went out for a nice afternoon, and caught salmon but had to throw them back. Our guide said they were a Coho and we can't keep those. We caught some fish and saw an eagle nest on the island!

Sooke was a fun place to fish. We had a nice quick boat ride to the fishing grounds, and the sights were amazing.
