Great guided tour of the sooke basin. Lots of wild life and interesting things to see.

We spent a couple hours paddle boarding from this location... The equipment was good, and the rates reasonable. Even though the waters here are salt water, falling off the board wasn't bone-chilling as the water was warmer than usual. Rental included board, paddle, life jacket and some instruction.

This was a precursor to buying a SUP, as I wanted to see if the expense justified the experience... And it was money well spent ☺️

We went on the guided tour, for which there was a thorough demonstration of kayak use and safety by Gina and Jared (sp). Gina led our tour, sharing interesting facts about the marine life and their ecosystem and indigenous spaces around the basin. Really cool seeing sea stars, sea cucumber, various seabirds, and even some seal pups basking on a log. Thanks to the Rush Kayak Adventure team for a fantastic Sunday!

Absolutely wonderful! Gina and her staff will go the extra mile to make sure that your spontaneous kayak rental can actually happen, although you should definitely call ahead during the high season. Her and her staff were very accommodating and Gina explained the basics in a clear concise manner. Given Gina's knowledge and skills in kayaking and survival, I felt completely comfortable and safe with her which in turn helped me to enjoy the tour that much more. I would highly recommend Rush Adventures and I would definitely do it again!

We did the 3 hour kayak tour and it was great. The guide had lots of information about the area and was very helpful. Highly recommend
