Spirit Bay Visitor Centre

I remember the first time I came to this area....work related reason....I don't remember the job I had at the time....but I remembered this place.
My goodness....its not possible for me to describe why I see and feel it as truly magical, truly unique....truly a place of its own....

Love it there, interesting but too expensive for me.

Excellent use of the natural topology. Brilliant colors. Lots of layouts. A well thought out community plan. Walter was a great tour guide.

Love the idea of well designed small homes in a pristine beautiful location. Some people simply don't need or want these 3000sqft homes that are being built today, especially when there is just one or two of you to enjoy the space. When we visited, while out for a drive, it was very quiet with few people around. The energy of the place felt inspiring, not to mention the environment. Incredibly serene. Apparently they've only built some 80 of 400+ planned homes. It would be nice if they could just stop now to maintain the intimate feel of the place. Honestly, I can't imagine what it will look like or feel like to have that many homes in one area. Congested comes to mind. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
