Active Pass Beach House

Though we came to Galiano to hike, we found ourselves hurrying back early to enjoy the peace of the beachhouse. There's nothing like watching the ferries pass at sunset while soaking in a hot tub, or seeing them sail by from the comfort of a soft bed. The owners are nice, kind, and very helpful. They've thought of everything you might need for your stay and even dropped us off at the ferry when it was time for to go (picking us up from the farmers market down the road so we could buy up some provisions for our ferry ride). I look forward to going back soon! Hopefully, I'll see the orcas on our next visit - they pass by from time to time.

What a perfect long weekend getaway - fantastic location, clean comfortable and lovingly appointed guest house, endless boat watching from the hot tub looking out on to Active Pass - it was simply perfect. Thank you so much for your hospitality - we will be back!

The Island is such a relaxing place to get away from everything. The suite had a wonderful deck I spent hours reading, sketching and watching the ferries and boats go by. Shirley and Mike were wonderful hosts.
