Greetings all, I just have to comment about my experiences in the last 2 weeks, having fitness be available 5 days a week with a variety of hours and numerous classes has been such a positive experience. Having been a weekender for 20 years and making the move here full time I worried that I would have to leave a structured fitness routine behind and with yoga offered twice a week and now the mayne island fitness operating 5 days a week there is a multitude of opportunity to improve my fitness and strength and I am truly grateful. Tim Begley has been knowledgable, accommodating, helpful and very approachable. His circuit classes are very well run and many options are given for beginners to advanced, with the focus being put on proper form to prevent any injuries and to promote strength, form, posture and all round good health. Having attended the classes I decided I also wanted a routine built around my strengths and needs, that I could do independently at a time that best suited me within the open hours, so I booked a private session with Tim and now I have a routine specifically suited to me, which is easy to follow and which I am already feeling positive results from, just ask my arms and legs. I encourage everyone to check out a class or just pop by when the gym is open and take a look at what is being offered. Thank you again for putting in the time and energy so that people on Mayne have an opportunity to become healthier, stronger and more flexible.
I met up with Tim of Mayne Island Fitness to figure out a personalized exercise routine that would allow me to exercise at home and hopefully reduce headaches that I have experienced since my two pregnancies. Along with this meet up, I have been doing the online training with Tim, which has helped keep me organized and on schedule. One month later, with feedback and encouragement from Tim and some perseverance I am starting to have more energy, am happier, have gone a week without a headache (which for me is amazing), and my engagement and wedding rings finally fit again after not having worn them for over 2 years. It's just the start of my journey and I am thankful that Tim is available to help me along the road. He is a professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly; I would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their health and fitness.
