The local grocery store is handy, along with the pharmacy, post office, fabulous bakery, incredible eats at Jo's, and it is always a treat to browse through Island Girls Boutique to check out fun finds for clothes or a special piece of handcrafted jewellery. My favourite though is still grabbing a coffee and sitting outside, and taking in the sights and sounds. Definitely a taste of simpler times!

(July 3, 2018, 12:12 am)Blew out a sailboat fuel line on a single cylinder diesel on the Friday of the Canada Day Long Weekend. Limped into Otter Bay and asked around for a mechanic. Drifwood Auto & Marine was open on Saturday. Their mechanic visited us on Sunday afternoon and fabbed a replacement hose for us from scratch. Excellent repair, well done and a very fair price that got us home safe without breaking the bank.
