(August 7, 2018, 9:09 pm)This area is called Esquimalt Lagoon. Approx 3 miles of gently sloped sand beach. The lagoon itself is a federal migratory bird sanctuary so you will see many different species including Canada Geese and white swans. Never a shortage of parking and 2 washrooms along the stretch. The views if Victoria and the Olympic mountains ia breathtaking. Great for adults and kids.

(July 29, 2018, 5:31 am)It's a great place on a hot day. Beach food Fridays and Saturdays go from 11 to 7pm and live music from 5-7 Check the website for which food trucks will be there, but be prepared for last minute changes.
(June 30, 2018, 4:46 pm)Food truck Fridays and Saturdsys during the summer are lots of fun. Artwork along the beach is incredible and naturally blends in.
