What a find! Now that I am retired have taken up sewing as one of my hobbies. A friend recommended Gala Fabrics. Beautiful selection of well priced fabrics and Karen was so helpful and fun. Actually tried on some very attractive tunics that were already made up using Tessuti on-line patterns. The clothes suited me perfectly so I've already ordered two patterns and will return to Gala for suitable, well priced linen. Great service and prices! Thank you Karen.

Nestled in a busy street downtown I was amazed by the quality of fine fabrics available. I have been there many times now for buttons, thread, bias tape, patterns as well as fabric both beautifully sombre as classic houndstooth and as fun as a sushi patterned cotton. The staff and the proprietor are friendly and very helpful. I've bought way too much than I have time for sewing but this is the kind of place with material that allows me even the possibilities. I can't wait to finish my projects so I can get more fabric.
