“I was the first costumer in their new location and was impressed with how clean and welcoming the space was. I had the pleasure of working on my tattoo with Cate Webb, who was always happy to listen to my input, made me feel comfortable with asking questions and editing the design, and brought to life an art piece that I have had in mind for a long time now. I had a great experience and highly recommend the work of Cate and her team at Black Cat Tattoo”

“Today I was lucky to get a delivery of Victoria Pie Co. key lime pie. I've only had their apple hand pies before (AMAZING. Not too sweet, and perfectly flaky pastry) but today was something different for me and I can assure you, it was worth it! This was, by far, the best key lime pie I've ever tasted. Amazing graham crust, and perfectly tangy filling. 10/10 would happily eat again in a heartbeat!”

“Great little store in a handy location. The prices are reasonable considering the convenience. They have a variety of everything although the produce isnt always the most fresh. Recently they have rearranged the store and expanded their dry goods and Asian groceries. They have lots of snacks and goodies of different varieties”

“I normally do not write reviews at all, but in this one case, I had to make an exception. The staff at this establishment were knowledgeable and friendly when I went there. The shop had a medium sized collection of glass which was very well selected. They also had an interesting array of other paraphernalia/goods that would suit the tastes of most tokers. I went in looking to find a bubbler to fit my abnormally picky taste in glassware and the staff gave me reasonable, intelligent advice on my potential purchase. When I could not find what I had in mind, the staff outright amazed me by directing me to their competitors down the street! Most places will just brush you off with a lackluster "sorry" if you cannot find what you are looking for, but these people went above and beyond the call of duty for a complete stranger. I do not even live in Victoria, I was just strolling down an unfamiliar avenue whilst visiting friends in town and I decided to drop in. I'm glad that I did; my experience at Illusionz Bazaar was second to none. Even if you are not looking for new glass, I highly suggest that you check this neat little store out. The staff and store earned a hands-down A+ from my experience there that day. Thanks Illusionz!”

“How did I not know about this place sooner? I've lived here for almost 40 years - my bad for sure. Great selection of watches, all reasonably priced. Had three watch batteries replaced at once, and they were done in ten minutes for the same price as getting ONE done at a "jewelry store". Very nice owners, what a cool shop.”

“2 issues. First after they got the new fountain machine I purchased (at 2 different times) a cup of sprite and 7up and it tasted awful kind of like a chemical, my daughter tasted it and said it tasted like wax. I ditched the cups.. And also in april my daughter told me she went in to get some treats and the cashier was rude to her, the woman might have just been having a bad day but she shouldn't take it out on customers.”

“Love this place! I get almost everything I use on my kayak trips here. I have bought boats here, the staff is amazing and knowledgeable. I guide for the adventure centre and am happy the store staff are so good to me. They have a great selection, they stand behind their products, trust me I am not easy on gear. I actually get excited to go to that store to find out what treasure I will discover next. They have lots of high end gear and clothing. It is my fav store in Victoria by far :) so much so that I am part of the Adventure Centre Team!”

“Over-the-top eye candy on steroids! I wanted to buy 1/2 the items in the store! And I could have, if I had a million dollars. Waay expensive, but the price matches the beautiful and original pieces. Be prepared to drool in the floral and fabric departments. You simply can't leave this store without buying something. Yes, really!! I just came home with $400. worth of curtain fabric.”
