Fernwood Massage Therapy

As a healthcare worker, massage is essential. Fernwood has been my Shangri-La for many years. I have tried many many other practitioners, but the atmosphere and kindness is above all.

I visited this Fernwood Massage Therapy recently. The staff were friendly and professional. The person who I had appointment with, came to the front and greeted me as soon as I open the door which was nice. You will have to answer some questions during your appointment. It helps the Therapist focus on specific area with specific technique. The room was nice, comfy and relaxing. I recommend visiting this location if you ever think about having massage.

The therapists are very friendly and professional. Although the atmosphete is a less relaxing compared to other massage place (no dim low lights, no aromatherapy, a bit noisy sometime), the therapists are much more personal and professional, really tailor to your needs and listen to your problem.

Dave Garbutt is recommended. I have a physical job, making regular massage treatment pretty much a necessity. So over the years I have had a lot of massage treatments from a lot of different RMTs. Dave was excellent. Professional in all aspects, he asked good questions, listened attentively, and has always provided very effective treatments. I have also found his technique less painful than many others, where I have often been squirming on the table. As another reviewer commented, he gave advice that worked for me, not just the generic "Drink water, try to stretch" etc. Pretty nice little studio too!

I've received RMT treatments from Fernwood Massage's Dave Garbutt for some time now. Wherever he goes, I follow and now that he's settled in at Fernwood, it's the only place I go.
Dave has an inate ability to really sense and feel what's going on with your body, combine that with his schooling and experience and I can't recommend him highly enough.
Dave is thorough, courteous, thoughtful, respectful and always tries to give advice which works for you, rather than a one size fits all recommendation.
Go see Dave, tell him I sent you, thank me later ;)
