(February 11, 2019, 4:13 am)I got held up at work, and my boyfriend got landed with the chore of running around town trying to find me a long black wig for a last minute Morticia and Gomez Addams Halloween couple costume. He went to three other locations, all of which offered lesser quality wigs for substantially more money, before ending up at Island Afrikan Supermarket. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I ended up with an absolutely gorgeous wig. I'm super grateful to them (and him!), and would encourage anybody in the market for a wig to stop by this place and check it out!
(February 11, 2019, 4:09 am)Fantastic service. 10 minutes before close went digging through a bunch of boxes to find what I was looking for. The wig quality for it's price point is also exceptional.

She has really created such a genuine feeling and is very helpful. There’s so much selection! It’s a one stop shop. If you like to get your hair done they have all your hair/ hair care needs. If you don’t check it out for yourself, you'll regret it! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES! =)
