We love finding the location favorites while traveling and Floyd's Diner is definitely a favorite.
We grabbed a seat by the window to watch the comings and goings on Menzies Street and it gave us the birds eye view of the flow of the diner.
The diner quickly filled with businessman, couples, friends; all engaged in light banter and overflowing plates in front of them.
One order of Frankie's Fruit and the Banana Bread Pudding French Toast.
Oh.My.Gut.
OMG great food and very friendly! We had breakfast one day and lunch the next day. Delicious breakfast and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
Terrific little diner with everything you expect from a diner , done to the nth degree. Sweet and efficient servers, quick with coffee, food and smiles. Tasty and creative breakfast plates as well as basic bacon and eggs. The good bread makes the toast worth the carbs.
It's a change from the other location but it was well worth the walk. Service was quick, my server was the only one working for a while and she wasn't letting anyone wait for anything. Food was outstanding I had the chicken and waffle Benny, I forget the actual name, but it was so delicious. I will be back for sure
This place was delicious! I'm giving this a 4 star because I ordered a Lumberjack and the sausage was a little burnt. Also, the egg was weird. That was my opinion. I'm sure loads of people should like it though. The bacon was great! Crispy and Crunchy! The fries are awesome as well. I loved the potatoes as well. The food satisfied my appetite.
I should probably give 4 and a half instead because it's so GOOD! The waiters were funny, calm and great. Good job! The place was more old fashioned, which I liked as well. Thanks! :)
