(February 11, 2021, 11:47 pm)Unassuming start to a long highway across the country. Nice to see the Terry Fox monument, but that's the only reason to spend any time here.
(December 24, 2020, 7:18 pm)Had an awesome time walking around the area with my family. Before moving to the island, we traveled from Ontario and stopped at most of the monuments across Canada honoring Terry Fox and his courage to take on this journey. Just steps from the zero mile monument. Beautiful views of the ocean, especially at sunset walking along the beachfront or the trails above. Beacon hill park has some great views up on the hill with the Canada flag 🇨🇦. Got our exercise for sure, along with plenty of fresh air, sunshine 🌞and friendly faces..
