“Went in for travel vaccines and as someone who is phobic of needles, it was a really good experience. They we patient with me, answered all my questions and made it as comfortable as possible. Additionally, the store carries some really great supplements and medical-grade skincare, and the advisor was incredibly helpful with finding products for us. 10/10”

“Casual atmosphere, good coffee and tea. Beetroot Latte is one of my favorites. I wish there were more armchairs though - they are so comfortable. In summer, the patio outside is lovely. Love the fountain on the side of the cafe. The place has a really nice vibe.”

“This little gem of a grocery store/bakery was a delightful find. Every morning, a variety of scrumptious freshly baked scones and muffins as well as other baked goods filled their counter top bakery shelves - add in a cup of their coffee and it made a filling breakfast or meal. There was a nice selection of really good hand made chocolates available! Beautiful fresh cut flowers for sale were attractively placed by the door. Outside the store, there was a place to sit and enjoy your food. If you are a game enthusiast, a table had an inlaid game board for chess or checkers.”

“This may be the most delicious ice cream I have had in years. The salted caramel was incredibly delicious - it was buttery and toffeyey and nicely rich! The salt was just right. Apparently, it's hand made in small batches. Their scoop size is not as large as most places but the quality more than makes up for the quantity. A real treat!”

“Imagine Cafe is a bright, warm space that offers students of all backgrounds a working cooperative. Have a meal that makes an impact! The lamb baguette pairs lovely with Silk Road chai and a sticky cinnamon bun for dessert. This cafe is for the soul searchers and book worms, artists and philanthropists, perfect for tourists in Victoria. A unique spot to get cozy and slow down after walking around Fisherman’s Wharf Market.”

“A nice Starbucks location within the ferry terminal close to the BC Parliament. The annoying thing is that they operate under a license or something similar and they are not able to redeem the Starbucks points to get free stuff, which is very annoying and inconvenient.”

“Excellent selection, competitive prices and friendly professional pharmacists and staff. We were visiting from out of province and they went above and beyond to help us find what we needed. I was particularly impressed with their giftware selection. I also love how involved in the community they are and that they give back to the community in numerous ways. I will be back when next in Victoria.”

“Love this place. Most things are more than a dollar so it's not the same as the Dollar Tree in the U.S.; however, they have a great selection of art and craft supplies which are the same offerings at places such as Michaels but cost way less.”

“Deeraj is an awesome clerk. Great sense of humor. The owner is friendly and approachable and HONEST. BEST COFFEE DEAL IN THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD! I know, because I comparison shop very very very carefully. Refills on Coffee are $1.05 a cup. They have a wide selection of stuff to add to your coffee, and wooden stir sticks. You can get the New York Times and soon they will also have The New Yorker (my go to news from New York because of Sy Hersh... although he's been censored lately too :( ) All in all, I am pleased to have Mac's in this neck of the woods. And believe it or not, Mac's coffee is as good, if not better than Tim Horton's. Not quite as good as MacDonald's... but far less bitter than Starbucks pike place. If the coffee is not hot, they will make you a fresh pot. I'd love to work here some day. All the staff I have met are friendly and easy to talk to.”

“This is a great place to get a cup of delicious coffee and donuts! The pour over is great and the baristas actually remembered which people had which order by their faces. Try the pour over, it's delicious!”

“The made-to-order wraps and sandwiches are delicious and fresh (the sandwiches are hugely popular and a local favourite) with a large selection of toppings. Aside from the deli, which has good prices, the products in the rest of the market can be a bit expensive. You can take your wrap or sandwich and sit outside in the sun on the many benches available. Really nice spot to hang out for an easy lunch. Is quite busy during lunch with locals on their breaks but the line goes fast and I have never not found a place to sit.”
