Spinnakers is one of the best spots in Victoria with amazing beer and an impressive menu featuring local fish and meat. Downstairs has always welcomed families and we have enjoyed dining when entertaining our nieces and nephews when they are in town. Upstairs has until recently been for adults only - no minors - and the vibe was very comfortable and enjoyable. Upstairs was a place to come for peace and relaxation enjoying a few pints and some food. Now the upstairs area is open to all ages and unfortunately it’s not a very entertaining space for kids. The result is that the cool vibe is gone when kids are running around. I wish Spinnakers would return to a no minors policy for the upstairs pub.
A nice place for a pint and a bite. The Irish stout was good, but my date's Caesar was a little too spicy. My pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. Nice view from upstairs.
Great that they're open. Limited menu but as always delicious food. Taking lots of care with social distancing so don't expect their usual service.
Great place. Food is locally sourced, staff is great, prices are great, lots of history in a fantastic location. Have never walked out of here without a smile on my face!
Oldest brew pub in Canada and there's a reason they're still doing it, because they do it very well. The food is excellent, we always come for brunch. Lots of great vegetarian options. Gorgeous building with even more phenomenal views. And the beer! Some of the best sours in town.
