My son did a one hour lesson and loved it. The farm is beautiful nestled in the forest, and the horses are very well cared for.
Shannon showed him how to brush the horse and clean her hooves and how to move safely around her and read her moves. He then learned to walk her around the ring. By the end of the session he was very comfortable with the horse and rode for about 10 minutes. The whole experience was fun, relaxing and educational and he wants to learn more. Shannon was wonderful at explaining things and encouraging bim. She very obviously cares about her clients' and her horses' well-being and is great at supporting both.
