Quiet little cottage in rural Comox

Charming little cottage, surrounded by a beautiful garden, peaceful and quiet.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in October 2006, and were able to make it back for our tenth anniversary in 2016. Both times were absolutely memorable for the atmosphere on the island away from the bigger centers. Diane was so kind both visits, going out of her way to make us feel welcome while respecting our privacy at the same time. There are many beautiful sights within walking or biking distance of the cottage, we enjoyed Goose Spit park, or walking through McDonald Wood park on our way into downtown Comox. After a long day enjoying nature or trying the different coffee places in the area, the cottage itself provided a comforting and homey welcome, nestled in the midst of the many beautiful flowers, bushes and trees in the yard. Everything we needed for preparing food was there, as well as a few local treats to eat when we first arrived. It was all very cozy, very mentally therapeutic. Many fond memories were made on the Island, to this day when I smell cedar or drink a dark roast coffee it takes me back there. Thanks again Diane!
