Uppercut Barbershop

I drive 45 minutes each way to get my hair cut. 100% worth every minute of my time. Jonny is a big market talent, tucked away in Cumberland. You can get cheaper & closer, but you won't get better.

I’ve been going to Johnny for 6 years. He cuts both long and short hair very well. He’s easy to chat with, too. Great little shop with all the classic barbershop accoutrements.

Johnny always gets it right. He has an undeniable artistic vision, and is an expert at his craft. He is attentive, amiable, and adept in social queues - which to me is what separates a good barber from a great one. Johnny at Uppercut is the best and deserves 5/5 stars and more.

I come from the city where the bar is set very high, but Jonny raises that bar event higher. Not only are the cuts amazing, Jonny is consistent every time I step in the door. His barber shop is very cool. He is great to converse with and always plays great music. It's an easy choice for me to make the 40-45 minute trip to Cumberland for the best.

Incredible service by a fantastic professional—always a pleasure to get a haircut as I know it's always going to be impeccable. The setting is also a delight, and the music is handpicked with excellent taste and care!
