MARS Wildlife Rescue Hospital

Awesome tour. I learned so much about what I can do in my own yard to increase the health of our local ecological systems. Everything needs a place to be and something to eat.

We have visited MARS a number of times-- it's perfect for bringing out of town guests especially, but a number of older adult family members have also really enjoyed being introduced to their work. The guides have been fabulous too, even though I've been through their tours a number of times, I always learn something new. I love their gift shop as well for unique items. I can't recommend them enough-- hardworking volunteers who are dedicated to wildlife in our region. As a result, we always try to drop off our empty cans & bottles to help with their fundraising.

We've also dropped off a duck and her ducklings who were hit on the highway-- the staff in the hospital were amazing, efficient and we were so delighted to be informed that the ducklings survived thanks to the dedication of their staff and volunteers.

Great place to take visitors. It is very interesting to hear about the work they do.

Great tours on a lovely outdoor space, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and answered all our questions. It was lovely getting to see the owls up close, especially in such a small group size.

We took their wonderful education tour. So interesting to see the reclaimed swampland habitat and to meet the birds. There was even a fun photo scavenger hunt for the kids back at the gift shop/learning center. Highly recommend!
