Jay has been my long time, trusted hairdresser for many, many years. He is a master of the cut, and when I used to colour my hair, he did a fantastic job of highlights and low lights. He is a very low key, gentle, thoughtful man. I highly recommend him!

As a fellow hairstylist, I was thrilled to have Jay cut and style my hair. I have very fine hair, and was very pleased with Jay’s communication and cutting techniques. He is an extremely good listener, has a wonderful, calming energy and is very talented. His sister is a client of mine, and once I heard that Jay moved here from Calgary, I wanted to support a fellow hairstylist and welcome him to the valley. I highly recommend Jay and wish him nothing but the best here in the Comox Valley!!

Jay has been my hair stylist for many years - it feels like a lifetime - I have always gotten compliments on my hair and my color from Jay's cuts and colors. I can't think of a hair cut or style that left me feeling disappointed - typically the opposite - the cuts are always beautiful and easy to style. Jay is a perfectionist and makes sure he understands what I'm asking for before he starts. His suggestions have always been great. As I've typically been in careers where how I look matters, in high profile situations or with high profile people (film actors/directors/producers, or clients, or post secondary teaching), it always mattered that I look professional and current. I can't recommend Jay enough. You will never be disappointed. And if you are on the first visit, he'll make sure the second one is what you're after. His calm demeanour makes for a serene and relaxing experience. Thank you Jay - your new clients are very lucky :)

I have had the wonderful opportunity to experience the beautiful and talented hair cuts/colours from Jay for well over 20 years.
