We highly recommend Chris Deis and Hillcroft Construction, and absolutely love our transformed home.

In late 2021 we embarked on a significant renovation of our home including a full kitchen redo, extensive flooring changes, and a bathroom update. After reviewing three contractor quotes Chris was our first choice. He gave a detailed written quote, priced fairly, and considered some aspects of the work that were overlooked by others. This gave us confidence going forward.

As with most renovations there were some challenges with fitting our plans into an existing structure but Chris' experience and knowledge enabled him to find solutions to implement quickly. We lived in the home during the renovations and Chris and the subtrades he hired were always friendly and considerate of our presence. He was also quite patient when we were working through the decision process for paint colours, light fixture locations, etc.

The project came in on budget and the work and level of quality exceeded our expecations. Any adjustments needed to the original quote were communicated clearly and professionally. We always felt informed and there was no uncertainty along the way.

One thing that impressed us the most was Chris' attention to the details involved. This was apparent at both coordinating the work during the project but also to the critical standard of quality in the finishing work.

Overall, we've worked with several builders and contractors over the years and would not hesitate to work with Hillcroft again. In fact we have plans for another bathroom project and again Chris will be our first call.
