The Mermaid Cottage in Cowichan Bay

My wife and I spent four fantastic days at this cottage. We enjoyed eating on the deck right over the water with views of playing seals and a variety of waterfowl. The cottage has everything from comfortable furniture and outstanding decor to a fully equipped kitchen. Would recommend to anyone that needs a relaxing break in their life.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at The Mermaid Cottage. Beautiful, well kept accommodations with a fantastic harbour view. All the amenities you would want to be very comfortable. Enjoyed a few drinks on the deck and can't wait to return. Wonderful place.

Charming! I rented the cottage with a friend for an extended weekend and loved it. The view was lovely to wake up to and we enjoyed hanging out on the large deck. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped and we had more than everything we needed. There was even a popcorn maker and popcorn. the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels, extra blankets, and everything else. The nautically-based décor is tasteful and instantly gave me that I'm-on-vacation feeling. The location is excellent with restaurants, parks, and shops in easy walking distance. We liked it so much, we booked our next trip before we even left!
