The Lakehouse at Shawnigan

We were visiting Shawnigan Lake for few days. We came here for lunch and enjoyed it so much that we had dinner the next day. Everything is excellent. Great service, delicious food, great dining room, beautiful views, kid friendly, good portions, good value and plenty parking. Highly recommend this place and we hope to be back someday!

Great location and good food which arrived quickly. Friendly staff. Our only concern was there was little attempt to follow Covid-19 rules. Lots of people sitting very close at the bar having a great time but not a safe time. Servers did not wear masks. Tables were separated which was good. We would give 5 stars if distancing was observed. We will return when this happens.

Wonderful spot to kick back and enjoy the Lakeside views and good food. Service may be a bit erratic, but always cheerful. Good range of beers on tap .

We happened across this place when driving back to Victoria from the Kinsol Trestle. What an awesome spot! It has really classic cabin vibes while still being super clean and new. The food was outstanding and one of the best burgers I've ever had. We also got the icecream sandwich and left feeling very satisfied.

Congrats on reopening this location during a tough time and doing a great job.

Will note that it would be nice to see servers wearing masks, at least for now.

5 Star! Highly recommended and a must try. We drove up from Victoria and it was worth the trip. Piece of Heaven. Amazing staff, food, views and dining experience.
