I am a Dr. Khanam patient. She's marvelous. The staff are friendly. Having said all that, it is a very busy walkin clinic that also has scheduled appointments throughout the day so if somebody appears to be cutting in line, they have a prescheduled appointment. Be patient - it will be worth it because the knowledge and compassion of the doctors are amazing. I have already recommended this clinic to friends. FOLLOW UP - sometimes the communication between the doctors and staff can cause things to fall through the cracks. If you don't hear from a requested referral within a month, call that doctor to see if they've received it. My paper work has fallen through the cracks on at least three occasions.
Very busy clinic, but that doesn’t stop them from giving you amazing care. The secretary is extremely friendly and helpful! The doctor (Dr De Beers) took his time and made sure I left feeling like my daughter is okay (she’s 5 months old). I will be going back to this clinic!
My experiences with Doctor Kapongo have been excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. The office is usually pretty busy and the walk-ins are a little hit-or-miss.
Frankly, any of the reviews which complain about open hours vs what they experienced when they arrived is colossally misinformed about how walk-in clinics work. Literally every single one will only put people on until they're at capacity. Regardless of any published hours of availability.
As far as organizing around a triage basis (worse cases may get bumped up in priority), what sort of self-important git is informed that someone is considerably more ill than they are but they got bumped in favor of them and talks about it like they deserve that spot anyway? Get over yourself.
My experience with Dr De Beers (I believe the spelling is?) on a walk-in basis has been very good as well.
