Lovely spot and cozy bakery. They are expensive but have nice breads and pastries. Not the best croissants but they do have the best pretzels I've tried here on the island.
Spectacular pretzels, cinnamon buns and almond croissants. The almond crossaints weren't light and flakey, but the buttery layers made a slightly denser yet satisfying pastry. This could be due to their own organic flour not being as processed. The almond filling was delicious and not too sweet. I enjoyed the focaccia and multigrain pan loaves as well.
This place has their own mill and grinds their own grains! Everything tastes delicious and it's easier to digest than regular commercial flour! You can buy the various flours they grind there as well as the baked goods. Mmmmm. Great for people who are sensitive but not allergic to gluten, like me! Thanks True Grain!
Always gloriously delicious treats & coffee. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place!!
Artisan Baking at its Finest. This place knows its craft. I've been here multiple times now and am very impressed with the breads, cookies, pretzels and cinnamon buns I pick up and bring home to eat. As an artisan bakery, I do pay more than I would for baked goods from my local grocery store bakery. That's fine by me. What they make has a superior taste and texture, which I'm sure is a combination of quality ingredients and attention to detail during the baking process. Worth every penny.
