Great view and good food. Servers could use a little improvement...and food safety not wonderful....

Friday Mar 22nd. From start to finish our meal was perfect! The food was amazing! The goat cheese dip, the halibut in lemon butter(special), the rack of lamb (special) cooked to perfection. Ended it with the Belgium Chocolate Tevine I think it was called. Seriously the best chocolate dessert I ever ate. Also ordered the Chocolate cake and that was so yummy too. Thanks for the great service as well. Our server who is from New Zealand was awesome!! Looking for a good meal go there! You will get what you pay for and its worth it!

Having had the luxury of being able to dine at the finest restaurants throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa has afforded me a rather unique if not incredibly 'spoiled' life where food is concerned. Never in my wildest dreams did I think the best meal I would ever indulge in = course for course - would be the one I was so fortunate to have at 'The Vine' in Cowichan Bay.
I was flabberghasted. Every course was better than the last - and better than 'any' course I'd ever eaten in the past.....for the first time - I 'refused' to leave the restaurant until the chef made an appearance. En Mass, everyone in our party commended the chef for what had turned out to be the best meal we'd ever experienced.
The Vine - at least on THIS night - was undoubtedly the best place in the world to eat....Bravo.

Had a lovely dinner with family and will be back again soon! We had appies, dinner, dessert and drinks, everything was delicious and the service was perfect.
