(August 8, 2022, 5:06 pm)My outboard on Galiano Island had a hydraulic steering fluid leak.. Doug West of Ladysmith Marine Service came from Ladysmith by boat to Galiano and fixed it immediately. This saved me a huge hassle as mechanics are hard to find in the Gulf Islands. Thank you so much Doug. What unbelievable service!!!!
(August 8, 2022, 1:27 am)After having some engine trouble in the harbour, Doug pulled up along side and was able to give us a tow over to the dock. He help was unexpected and extremely helpful.
(July 30, 2021, 5:47 pm)I damaged my prop heading over the Georgia Straight. I moored at the Marina near by. I came over to Ladysmith Marine Services and spoke to Doug about my problem. He was great to deal with and even leant me some tools to remove and replace my prop. He was able to get me one the same day at a very reasonable, honest price. If anything happens again around this area, he will be my first choice for sure!
