We’ve been taking our doggo here for daycare once a week for almost 2 months now, and we are super happy. Rhonda and her staff are super nice and obviously care about all of the dogs very much. There is plenty of safe space inside for the dogs to play or rest, as well as a fenced outdoor area for running around and exploring. We have a very tired happy pooch at the end of the day 😊
Very happy with our service with this business. Our dogs loves to go on her adventures 3 times a week. The owner has been really accommodating with us and the staff she hires are very friendly and I can see they love our doggie as well.
We had a great experience with puppy play times and puppy training with Rhonda & her crew, and started sending him to doggy daycare & adventure hikes when our work/study schedules got busier. He has since boarded with Rhonda. We have tried all the services! We only have good things to say and recommend this company to everyone. Our young, large, excitable, clumsy bully mix is so happy to go on his hikes, and is overall a more well balanced dog with this in his schedule. It has done just as much as training in terms of having him become a (slightly) more collected young dog. All of our questions get answered, and last minute boarding & hike schedule changes have all been accommodated!
Nice facility and convenient location. Great for small to medium dogs or older dogs. Owner seems to struggle handling young, larger dogs with lots of energy. She seems uncomfortable with last minute bookings, plans, or late clients. Can be difficult if one commutes into Victoria for work and has to deal with unpredictable Malahat traffic... or last minute (24 hour notice) plans. She does seem passive-agressive at times, meaning she is polite and friendly, but to a point of masking her obvious frustrations. She seems unwilling to work with dogs with mild behavioural issues that might need a temporary time out. Could be her level of experience or being overwhelmed by the volume of dogs per day. Who knows? We were surprised since she advertises as a trainer. Our dog has not had any issues at any other daycares. In fact, he is well-liked and popular. This is her preference of course and her business. She is also not one to recommend or refer clients to other canine services when asked. I would recommend this daycare to people who have clear and consistent schedules, plan ahead, and have smaller pups or older dogs. Otherwise, there are many daycares and dog walkers in this area that are better suited for other types of dogs and are happy to offer advice and referrals. I was hestitant to give this review, but I think Just Doggin’ It needs to know that their level of customer service needs some improvement. There is a lot of competition in this area.
Rhonda and her lovely crew are amazing. My dog is always happy when he comes home from adventure hikes and day play camp. We have been using Just Doggin It for alomst 4 years and really appreciate the quality of care and the great training options.
