Chemainus Theatre Festival

A great Playhouse with good views from all seats. The staff and players are usually great until they do an "adaptation" of a play, then I skip those ones. Buffet is good, not great as a result it's overpriced but that's okay since it's used to subsidize the entire operation.

Some amazing, some great, some not my style. The productions are always top notch. I buy seasons tickets most years and give away the ones I don't want to see so others can experience live theatre.

The buffet is good, not great or outstanding. Friday is usually better than Saturday. The chocolate fountain is truly cool and they have some good desserts. Wine menu is adequate. Servers are very friendly.

We saw the show with dinner included. Buffet was very good, theatre is small and well designed, no bad seats but ones in the middle a bit better of course. I would totally do this again if there was a show I wanted to see.

There isn't a bad seat in the house. Nice intimate theatre. We started the evening with dinner in the dining room. We had an unhurried dinner, bottle of wine, with live piano music in the background. Then we went into the theatre for a very lively performance of Momma Mia. Great way to celebrate our anniversary!

Always a great trip to see a play. I have seen several and enjoyed every one. Seating is good no matter where you buy.
The lunch and dinner packages are worth it! The food and atmosphere are very for a romantic dinner or a date with your friends. Parking can be a little tight so come early if want close parking. Staff are friendly and helpful.
