I had a wasp nest in my crawl space and had been unsuccessful with just spraying the entrance/exit. I could not open the hatch due to the number of wasps. I had reached out to 2 previous pest control companies. After 3 days waiting for a response, I contacted Cowichan Valley Pest Control Ltd. and received a response within a couple hours. John came to my home early morning the next work day. He took the time to explain to me what he could do and within 1 hour he was done. He called me later that day to explain the details of the nest and then sent me written details of the products used, etc. I am extremely happy with the professionalism and response time of this business and would strongly recommend them to anyone with a pest issue. I will use them again for my next pest issue.

John is fantastic! He's personable, knowledgeable, honest/forthright, shows up when he says he will, and follows-through. It's remarkable how he can simply look at evidence/movement of critters and know what they're up to and what to do about it. I also very much appreciate his willingness to share info - what he's doing, why he's doing it, and how to avoid future issues - as well as his wholistic/integrated perspective - although some critters may seem like pests they may actually provide some benefit (e.g. keeping other, worse pests away, cleaning up debris, etc.). Dedicated to his customers, business, and profession. Definitely recommend...highly!

Hands down the best pest control service in the Cowichan area. We met John when he was working with another pest control company before he ventured out on his own with Cowichan Valley Pest Control. Although we haven't needed his services yet, I called him with a few concerns and he clearly communicated what we're dealing with and how (and when) best to approach it. He is knowledgeable and strives to keep current with his profession, has integrity, and excels at customer service. Having a pest problem is no fun, and you want the best person for the job - hands down, it's John with Cowichan Valley Pest Control.

John has been truly amazing to work with! He communicates very well and always does what he says he will do. He is punctual and courteous. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and not only eliminated my rodent issue promptly and efficiently, but taught me all about what he was doing and why as we went through the process in the way that he did. He went above and beyond in many instances. I would go back to John for any future pest issues in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this business!
