Such a wonderful, personal experience. I would highly recommend.
Very unique vineyard. They apparently produce a lot of grapes that they sell on to other wineries and only make small amounts of their own wine. Every wine we tried was pretty good. The Gamay rose in particular was lovely as well as it’s sister red wine. The wine was priced really cheaply which was a bonus.
The tasting room area is basically an old barn and it has very chill laid back rustic vibes which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. They also had a couple of cute goats!
After four days of hiking from Victoria to Duncan via Lake Cowichan, and flirting with the winery's closing time within ten minutes, the kind folks at Deol Vinyard were more than welcoming to my (tired and thirsty!) friends and me. With the intent of simply grabbing a couple bottles of wine to share for dinner, we were so fortunate to enjoy tasting the delicious array of wines. The host was so pleasant, hospitable, and very knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend paying a visit to Deol winery the next time you're in the Cowichan Valley. Cheers!
Renée was so knowledgeable and led us on an amazing tasting experience. Would recommend! Great prices too!
Great visit! Renee was very knowledgeable about all the wines. Took home the Gamay Rose
