    He gave me my life back! He is a first class doc and provided the most professional medical experience of my life. He is always on time and I have never had to wait for my appointments. I think he is a very conservative doctor and only performed my hip replacement when it was absolutely necessary and when I requested the procedure. Both hips went perfect and I'm back to having my life again. I had zero complications unlike many of my friends who used other docs and ended up with one leg longer than the other. Doctor Ricardo Velazquez is a fantastic doctor and a great human who truly cares about his patients. If you are thinking about THR...just do it! The worry is worse than the surgery!

    I visited Dr Velazquez about 3 years ago regarding OA in my knees. He was very compassionate with me, explained in detail my condition and options. He even showed me my X-rays that were taken 1 year apart and explained the degeneration that had taken place over that time. Even though my outlook was poor and he recommended a knee transplant in 3-5 years, I was very confident in his diagnosis and left, clear about what had caused my condition - hereditary - and what I could do to strengthen my knees and what exercises would be beneficial.
