Spruce Grove Campground

First time visiting this campsite, decent campsites but facilities need work. There were portable washrooms to use since the outhouses were out of order. Main bathroom and shower building was super old and outdated and dirty. Other than the facilities, great stay despite the smoke

Gorgeous views of the mountains. Very close to the Fairmont Hot Springs. Chilly and refreshing pool for hot days. Clean bathrooms and showers.

My only concern was that the main garbage bin site was right in the centre of about 6 camping sights. This was not a bear proof garbage bin, and with the camp staff letting me know there was a bear along the river recently I did not feel safe sleeping so close to the garbage in a tent.

A truly amazing campground! I've been coming to Spruce Grove since I was a kid, and it's always been a blast being there. It feels like you're immersed in nature while still having great facilities like the pool, showers, and water sources. The staff is super great and helped me with directions to find the hot springs. Will continue to come to Spruce Grove for many years to come.
