(February 19, 2019, 4:00 am)We have driven along Burma Road multiple times a year since Fernie became our year round home 10 years ago. Every time we talked about what a dream it would be to live on Burma Road. This year, thanks to Shoesmith Enterprises, and Shoesmith Construction, this dream became a reality. We still can’t really believe it.
Both Chuck and Debbie Shoesmith were a pleasure to manifest this dream with. They helped us curate the somewhat crazy plan we had and were incredibly patient and supportive throughout. We hope to be their friends and neighbours for many years to come.
As for living here on Burma, it is simply the best. The views are incredible, we have a whole acre to ourselves and yet in a wink we can be at any city amenity we need. It is indeed a phenomenal rural lifestyle within the city of Fernie.
