Playwest Mountain Experience

My husband and I had an epic day hiking Pedley Pass with Chris! I was a bit nervous leading up to the trailhead, and appreciated being checked in on. We felt super safe on the trail and definitely jived with Chris’ sense of humour. He really gave us confidence on the trail and made it a memorable day! We’ll for sure be booking a guided hike with Chris again in the future.

Chris led and guided our group through a beautiful hike of Pedley Pass. He ensured we were safe and comfortable throughout the hike. Chris is very knowledgeable and taught us all a lot about the area. The sites were beautiful and we even had a delicious lunch provided by him. Thank you Chris! And thank you for your recommendation of the coffee shop and restaurant in Invermere! I went to both places and was not disappointed 😊

I had such an amazing adventure on the Wild Wetlands Adventure! Our tour guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable; I learned so much about the area and animals in the area. A special moment was sitting on a bench admiring the view with the tea and granola bar supplied by Chris. Thank you so much for making sure I had a remarkable experience, Chris. (P.S. I think my foot may be actually better after all that walking! 🤣)

Our group of five fit women enjoyed a very full day of hiking and learning about the local flora/fauna/geography with our guide Chris. We appreciated the added security of Chris’ approach to safety on the mountain and the fact he shlepped a bag of yummy fondue ingredients up the mountain for us (and then prepared it at the summit!). Pretty special day with dear friends.

I recently spent 4 days in the Purcell’s with some family and Chris and it was an adventure we will remember our whole lives! From the gear check the night before the trip to unpacking on the last day, Chris was nothing but positive, upbeat, professional, and just an overall amazing guy to be around! Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about the mountains and everything that goes into backcountry alpine hikes. Chris was super attentive to our needs and was quick to prevent dehydration and low energy in the group. He made fresh meals and was a huge advocate of locally sourced products, which we loved! Chris always made us feel like we were in good hands. We rented gear from Chris and it was all clean, in amazing shape, and high quality. We will be reaching out to Chris for all our future adventures in BC!
