The Heartfelt Companion: Services for Seniors

My brother was alone in Invermere in LTC, because his wife could not drive from Cranbrook, and the rest of the family is in Alberta. Heartfelt Companions were our "eyes and ears" on David's care, as well as providing companionship, lunches out, sunglasses, batteries, anything he needed to make his stay more comfortable. Highly recommended.

My mother was sent to a long term care facility in Invermere this past winter while waiting for a bed in Cranbrook. Leanne and her staff provided excellent support for her and were available at short notice if she needed anything extra. They provided social stimulation and also arranged and accompanied her to weekly hair appointments.
Over Christmas, the weather and roads were bad and Leanne and her staff ensured mom had a stocking to open with multiple little gifts to tide her over until we could visit. She thoroughly enjoyed their visits and I felt supported with regular updates from Leanne as well.

Leanne and her team at ‘The Heartfelt Companion Service’ were a real lifeline for our family during the last year of my mom’s life. With several visits a week, they were punctual, so kind and caring, made sure my mom got some exercise, and put a smile on her face. For me as the primary caregiver, they gave me such emotional support. They really become part of the family. Five Stars for incredible service.

Leanne and her team supported us quickly when we needed help. They were able to provide professional and appropriate care to my mother who lives with dementia. We so appreciate the willingness to step in and “make it work” on short notice!

Leanne and Sandie at Heartfelt Companion have provided exceptional help for my stepfather. They became good friends and he looked forward to their arrival each day. They have been incredibly caring and numerous times they went above and beyond to help him. When he moved to Alberta this fall Leanne helped connect us with another caregiver and Sandie continued working with him for a month to ease the transition.
We look forward to working with Heartfelt Companion again in the spring.
