(February 26, 2021, 6:10 pm)I just got my email saying Wings Over the Rockies is back for 2021. Hooray! I had a blast when I attended a couple years ago. There are lots of fun and informative workshops and events and it's a wonderful way to get hyped about birds in the great outdoors. I loved kayaking with Lewis woodpeckers, paddling that giant canoe in search of shorebirds, and cruising for curlews. One area of improvement is that sadly, the birding community is still very pale, male, and stale, so it would be great to see some more diversity throughout the festival.
