Mountain Spirit Resort Kimberley

Pretty dang nice! Bath tubs even a huge mofo like me could fit in 6'3 340lbs. Plus hot tub /pool a nice cooshy bed and for some reason a safe in every room

What amazing staff!! My husband and I booked an AirBnb MONTHS ago and their pool ended up being closed (the main reason we booked there, naturally lol) so we scrambled to find other accommodations for our 3 night stay. We needed 3 nights, but only 2 were available; however, upon hearing our situation and sensing our sadness and frustration, the front desk receptionist Caroline and the hotel manager shuffled people around to accommodate my husband and I. They were so kind and worked so hard to make it work, and they saved our trip. We had a great time and we truly appreciated the kindness and warmth the staff exhibited. And on top of all that? They gave us an amazing room that really felt like home. Would be happy to stay again!!!!

Mountain Spirit offers very nicely appointed rental condo suites at a very good price. The facility is always clean (we have stayed several times), comfortable with all needed amenities. We love the hot tub! Will definitely stay there again.

In another review of mine (Emerald lake lodge) I wrote - the hotel was mediocre while the place was great. Here it is the other way round. In Kimberly there is not much to see (in summer). But the Mountain Spirit Resort is great! As other reviewers pointed out - clean, modern looking, spacious, nice staff etc. I will upload several pictures of the interior. We were going to arrive arrive there in a Saturday evening at about 8PM and got concerned after realizing that there would be no staff after 2PM. While driving we called several times (after 5PM) but nobody answered. To our pleasant surprise there was a note at the reception to call another phone number if you arrive late. We called and the person there told us to go outside and unlock a little box where we found the cards for our apartment. I don't know how does it look like in the winter and whether it gets more expensive in non-covid times, but our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Five stars!

WoW .... loved it !! I was so impressed with this condo/hotel. We had the most comfortable king size bed in our one bedroom suite, that I maybe have ever slept on. The queen size pull out couch in the living room was not as comfortable as a bed,... but it was great as a couch. The shower was the perfect size, the shower head definitely an upgrade AND the tub is to die for. Rarely do you ever stay in a hotel that has such a large “stretch yourself out” kind of tub. It even has a washer and a dryer. There was a new iron and ironing board in our suite and an X-box game.... We had two TVs.... We enjoyed sitting out on the patio having a drink before dinner…

Our room was so well appointed, it had everything that a home away from home should have, from hair blower to blender (for anyone who wants a blender drink). It had a toaster, a coffee pot, pots and pans, wine glasses, potato peeler, corkscrew .... you name it it was there!!!

And finally we found a hot tub that was actually hot.....and large… and all the jets were working !!! There was a small heated swimming pool there as well, not big enough to swim laps in, but a great size for the kids to play in while we soaked in the hot tub !!

Very clean hotel, ...and wonderful front desk employees. It’s right on the ski hill and a short walk to Trickle Creek golf course ...

The indoor parking heated in the winter time and cool in the summer is just the icing on the cake. I highly recommend staying here !!!
