Bill was courteous and did a good repair however I cannot give five stars as I feel a bit overcharged for the service is done. I was charged for an initial fee visit where he was there under 10 minutes because the back cover would not open and he was going to have to come back after we turned off the fridge overnight and then when he came back I was charged for a second visit and it was only a 15 minute repair. So in the end I paid $98 for an initial visit, $45 for subsequent visit and then about $30 for 15 minutes of actual repair time for a fairly inexpensive part. I wish there was a little more upfront pricing provided before the job is done.
Overall great company and I would use again but would ensure he provided a firm price before he starts the work/visit.

I didn't actually use this business but the honesty and transparency needs to be noticed. This company did not advertise " free quote" only to charge a diagnostic fee whether you accept the fake free quote or not. My inquiry was answered fast and was even willing to talk with me on phone first. My landloards decided to replace the faulty fridge instead of repair. However the smaller guy deserves the business!!!
For years I have been using the services of another appliance repair guy. Last time I called him he advised me he was retiring. I asked him to recommend another Appliance repair company. He recommended Bill from City Wide. I have now used Bill on 2 different occasions. Both times he has been great at communicating, punctual and the invoices have been more than fair. After our dryer had a major failure including smoke and fire damage to the until we called to book a service call with Bill at City Wide Appliance. Bill was able to come promptly on the day I was available and showed up right on time for the house call. He was very polite, respectful and professional in assessing the damage and possible repairs with a quote and suggestion on what to do. I would absolutely use his services again and would highly recommend him for any appliance repairs.
