Oh man, not only does this coffee taste amazing, like actually amazing, I feel great about helping farmers in Myanmar. Especially now during this coup, I'm stoked to know that Lighthouse's direct trade actually makes a difference!
We have been following the journey of Lighthouse Coffee since it arrived in the lower mainland. We first hand have had interactions with the amazing people behind the bags of fresh roasted coffee beans.
We’ve received fresh roasted beans, heard wonderful stories and even had opportunity to meet the farmer and pastor from Myanmar in Langley bc. What an honor.
We purchase and receive these bags of coffee knowing that we are directly impacting the farmers that grow these beans, and support the community initiatives in Myanmar that this project is contributing towards.
This is premium quality coffee. When you try the good stuff, you can’t go back! When you meet the people behind it, you will want to continue to support it!
Wow! What a smooth fruity flavour of a coffee! I have just recently gotten into drinking specialty coffee and this is tops! Many coffees tend to leave a burned coffee after taste- but not Lighthouse Coffee! I would recommend this to everyone to try- and not only is it great coffee, the story behind the coffee is amazing too! Way to give back to the producers of the coffee and their area! Hats off to all who are involved in making this coffee available to purchase! Can’t wait for my next cup!
We recently came into contact with Lighthouse through their instagram page, and we have nothing but high praises for them! My husband is very particular about his coffee (his favourite is Monogram), and he says that Lighthouse has become his new favourite. Besides having great coffee and customer service, they are also ethical. They are fully fair-trade, and if you look at their page you can see how closely they work with their framers in Myanmar. A portion of their proceeds goes towards their work overseas, to even help with sending women to school. What more can you ask for from a company???
