Wow what a beautiful restaurant, love the decor! We got to sit at one of the caged tables, felt very exclusive!

As nice as the restaurant and food was our server was the best part! Made wonderful suggestions about our food selections, LOVE that hero califlower, the linguine was fantastic and the cookie was the perfect end to our meal! Chelsea made us feel right at home like we were old friends! She was prompt and so incredibly welcoming!
Can't wait to come and see her for Brunch, she made the stuffed French toast sound so good we got hungry again just hearing her describe it!

I took my husband for Father’s Day to eat dinner at the Abbotsford location. We’ve been to the Surrey and Langley ones too, but decided to go to this one to enjoy in the patio. Unfortunately we didn’t get a patio seating but we were still pleased with the food and service. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. She took our orders and brought our appetizers fast. The food was hot and tasted great as always. My husband even got a free beer for his special day. A BIG THANK YOU!

I will start off by saying that our issue was resolved by the manager and she was very kind.

However, I do feel the need to discuss our experience prior to our issue being resolved.

Our waitress started out nice, until we asked for a physical copy of the menu because my mom can’t read very well on her phone (they have menus you scan and read on your phone). The server seemed annoyed that we asked for this. Next, we ordered a starter at 1:58pm, 2 min before happy hour. The server said she’d put them in at 2pm for us to get the happy hour deal. Well, 2:30 rolls around and the waitress comes by the table and says the kitchen is just shucking the oysters, I said still? It’s been 30 min. She came to the table and abruptly tried to explain that she couldn’t enter the item until 2pm for the happy hour deal, I said I understand that but it was only a 2 min wait till 2pm and it’s been 30 min. Instead of just admitting she forgot to punch them in, she decides to give us a snarky passive aggressive attitude and make up another excuse as to how the kitchens clock is different, still didn’t add up...she didn’t like that I was questioning her answers and decided to again abruptly tell us she’ll bring the manager. We never saw the server again. I’m sorry but first of all to not only lie to us but also get angry and be rude to customers because you’re being called out on lying...super unprofessional.

Like I said above, the manager resolved our issue and she was very pleasant, however if this is how servers treat customers at this restaurant, unsure if we would return. As a former server myself, I would never ever talk to a customer the way that she did. Besides this complaint, the food was good and we enjoyed it.

Went to S+L kitchen for valentine's day dinner we got the calamari and then 8oz sirloin. Steak was cooked to perfection extremely tender and flavorful. Calamari had a mix of calamari, beaded vegetables roasted chick peas and pickles onion was absolutely amazing. Staff were attentive even for a busy night great service
