St. James and St. Ann's School

I am constantly blown away by the amazingly caring, attentive and communicative culture at this school. My children go here and they are thriving and loving it.

The academics are excellent, the faith based program isn’t “stuffed down your throat” but rather focused on the universal messages of love, compassion and caring for your neighbor. Many charities, organizations, and community programs are helped by the students here.

Many students who need intervention in learning, or any other personal matter, are helped VERY quickly. One of my children struggled in reading and was promptly put in a program to give them a boost. I LOVE that they keep such close tabs on children’s performance and capabilities.

I am from an immigrant family. I have been so welcomed by so many families here. I noticed a very negative review here and frankly, I’m not sure if this is true. Especially because the school is EXTREMELY multicultural. While I don’t doubt this individual may have had a bad experience, if you go to this school, you will share my strong skepticism in such negative and inflammatory claims. No school is perfect, but please take those claims with a grain of salt.

With COVID the measures and the efforts of the school has been above and beyond. Extremely stringent hygiene practices. One of the befits of a smaller is is that the staff can keep better tabs on everything.

We had considered moving cities, but literally chose to stay because we did not think our school experience could be topped.

Super great teachers. Friendly support staff. A great place where the classrooms are very well organized and small.

They could improve a few things starting with a bigger playground structure.
