Tim from Maverick Contracting was a pleasure to deal with on my exterior stairs. He was able to quote my job quickly and after consultation, suggested a new approach to building my stairs that I hadn't thought of which was much more suitable to the area. His communication was prompt and clear and his work was well done. I couldn't be happier with the job he did. I would definitely hire him again.

Tim was such a awesome contractor on time, worked full days, quality workmanship. He painted our exterior, built a fence and gate, put up laminate on our island, put shelves up in our kitchen. A real talented carpenter! We’d hire him again !

We highly recommend Tim Brandsma and Maverick Contracting. We wanted to have a stoop with railings put on the front of our house, along with having our small back porch and steps rebuilt. After getting a few bids, we decided to go with Tim, and we’re very glad we did. We’ve had some issues with contractors in the past, so were a little gun shy when it came to hiring someone to do the job, but he left us with a very good impression when we met with him.

Tim was wonderful to work with! He has a great work ethic, looks you in the eye, and delivers on what he says he’ll do to make sure you’re happy with the project. He did an amazing job – even better than we expected. The two projects he worked on are well constructed and very sturdy, and the finished product looks better than we thought we’d end up with when we put the job out for bid.

He was a good communicator, both in person on site as well as through e-mails and texts, and there were also no hidden surprises in the end when he sent the final invoice. Tim was a pleasure to work with, and we plan on having him do our next project as well.

Tim is one of those guys that gives you honest feedback during consultation, is passionate about what he does, and is completely reliable (a rare combo🤷). I'd recommend him every time and will definitely be using him again for my next "please build this because I can't".
